What is the address to the venue?
The address of Monte das Oliveiras is: Sítio da Ataboeira, 8200-430 Guia, Portugal. This is located within the Algrave region of Portugal. Please note that this will only show up on Google Maps. If you are using a different GPS platform, you can use the latitude and longitude: 37.12611618471638, -8.266341906938935.
What time should I arrive?
We ask all guests to arrive by 4pm for our ceremony.
How do we get to the venue?
We will have a shuttle to/from our designated hotel, Aqua Pedra dos Bicos, and encourage our guests to utilize it! If you are not staying at the hotel, please feel free to meet our guests there for departure. Alternatively, you can schedule an Uber or Lyft. There is also private parking for those who wish to drive.
What is the dress code?
We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! We are requesting cocktail attire (semi-formal) for our wedding. To help our wedding party stand out, we kindly ask guests to avoid wearing light blue attire, as this is the color our bridal party will be wearing.
Can I bring a date?
We are only able to accommodate for guests formally invited. If you received a plus one, your guest's name (or the word Guest) will be listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP.
Are kids invited?
We will only be able to accommodate family and friends listed on your invitation. While we love all of the children in our lives, we have decided to make this an adults-only celebration. We encourage parents to enjoy this evening as a date night!
Will there be an open bar?
Absolutely. Drinks are on us, hangover is on you - get ready to party!
Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Should I rent a car?
Short answer is it's totally up to you. Ubers are very easy to acquire and fairly priced. Other than traveling to/from Lisbon, we don't recommend taking the train to get around places, as you probably need to take an Uber to/from the station anyway. If you plan on taking day trips to other cities in the Algarve (i.e. Lagos), an Uber will suffice. There are also a bunch of group tours you can easily find in the area. Everything else (beach, food, pharmacy, etc.) is walking distance.
If you do decide to rent a car, please keep in mind that it's Portugal's peak season and parking may be difficult. Our venue does have a parking area so that won't be an issue at our wedding.
